Sarah Ho holds a Master of Business Administrative from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) from University of Auckland in New Zealand. She is a licenced pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand with over 12 years of experience in the healthcare industry, ranging from pharmacy practice in the retail environment, to sales, marketing and operations. She started her career in retail pharmacy and has since then progressed into the pharmaceutical industry in sales and marketing. She was appointed as Head of Sales and Marketing of Hovid Group in July 2016, a position she holds to date. She was appointed as an Executive Director of Hovid Pharmacy Sdn. Bhd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hovid Berhad in June 2017. She took on the entire group’s sales & marketing in July 2019, including all overseas sales & marketing subsidiaries of the group.

David Ho obtained his Master of Pharmacy degree from the University of Otago, New Zealand in 1976. From 1978 to 1979, he was a Research Pharmacist in the R&D laboratory of Wyeth Laboratories Ltd, United Kingdom.
With his extensive experience in the pharmaceutical field, David founded and incorporated Hovid Berhad in 1980, leading its transformation from a herbal tea company to a leading pharmaceutical company in Malaysia. Hovid manufactures more than 400 pharmaceutical products. Many of these are marketed to about 50 countries.
Under his leadership, Hovid achieved numerous pioneering initiatives, including being the first in Malaysia and the world to extract valuable carotenoids and tocotrienols from palm oil on a commercial scale. Hovid also pioneered the development of the self-emulsifying “SupraBioTM system” for enhanced absorption of tocotrienols in the human body and targeted delivery to vital organs such as the human brain.
Tocotrienol SupraBio is now undergoing USFDA Phase II trial for orphan disease of brain and end stage liver disease in the EU and USA.

Developing content for both internal and external communications such as newsletters, press releases, speeches, and marketing materials, while coordinating with internal departments for necessary input

A Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering qualifications.
Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience in equipment/machine maintenance, preferably in the Mechanical section, with a strong foundation in the pharmaceutical industry.
Knowledge of GMP, safety standards (e.g. OSHA), and preventive maintenance systems (e.g. CMMS).
